Standing in my bathtub
in my nightie,
camera in hand,
snapping pictures
as a blazing sun burns off the memory of yesterday’s storm.
Not superior planning by our builder,
this picture window for a bath–
but for capturing sunrise souls,
superior!
It’s an eastern vista, a bird’s-eye view
except for the other pesky houses in my way.
I wonder if my neighbors think I’m a peeping Tom-ette
as I stand in my bathtub,
in my nightie,
camera in hand?

I’m jealous, as I have no view of the sunset anymore from house or even my street! I hate it, it hits my soul with a bull whip when I think about my lost sunsets. Can’t wait to move, but enjoyed your photos just the same. Thank you for sharing.
I do love sunrises and sunsets!
A good use for a bath. It looks like it’s going to be a good day.
Amazing April in the desert with snow all over the low hills, sunny and lots of cumulus clouds, with a wind like ice. Welcome spring?
From your bathtub!!! Hope you know how lucky you are!
It is best for pictures because since I am tall, it is useless for a bath.
Absolutely stunning photos!! Something nice to look at instead of what the weather radar is showing me right now. :O
It poured and poured and thundered yesterday. Then snow on the mts. and even the lowest hills! So I went to bed with my camera because I thought the sunrise might be good.
A tub with a view. Wow.
Ha, I like that. Almost like the movie..
Great photos!! If you can see them they are keeping an eye on you, just in case. They should close their blinds…;)
“Tub with a view” what Realtor wouldn’t jump on that!!!
Ha! Maybe I’ll witness a murder like in the movie.
Hi, thank you for the like! These photos stir up the echoes and shake loose the trail dust of life! A million minds wrote it one way, the writer saw the next way, the first time! Nice to meet you! Keep writing it’s brilliant!
Thank you. What a nice comment!
You gave me a good laugh, thank you. Great photos also.
Thanks! Laughing is good!
