This is one of my favorite pictures of Mom and my youngest (scanned from 35 mm), taken in ’91.
It proves that I am not as good a person as my mom because I would not be doing all that leaning over, picking my sister’s green beans at 7 a.m. in the morning! Well, and I wouldn’t wear those shoes or that snazzy hat, so I guess it evens out.
Oh, and since it’s Canada, it should be favourite!

Great human interest image. thank you for posting this.
Thanks!
they both look like they are enjoying themselves.. what a wonderful photo..
The kid is now 22!
This is a wonderful photograph.
I’m all for the snazzy hat!
I’ll have to see if it’s still around.
But you do look like her, ahaha! Your mama and your boy have similar eyes (laughing)…
But I didn’t get her strong back!!
Love this photo!!! Love the red hair!

It was fun. Notice I’m not working.
Very touching photo.
Thanks. It is one I love.
That is an awesome photo! It reminds me of my grandmother who did all the work by hand wearing a corset and stockings under the dress and the standard issue lace up shoes with the heels. How did they do it??
My mom wore one like forever! Until . . . I don’t remember. But she got free indeed!
Lovely photo! You must treasure it! I have a couple of my mother with my grand kids!
It is a precious one to me.
