After 6 weeks or so of healing, the mama baker is back. We have organic homemade ww bread again and granola, too.
Now to head to the club to see if I can exercise. I hope not. No, I mean . . . hoowah!

I’m so impressed! I can make cinnamon buns from the Poppin Fresh Dough guy. They are actually very good and my kids think they’re home made. Of course, my kids are in their 40s now, but what they don’t know won’t hurt them….
looks yummy! I’m glad you are feeling better.
Almost normal!
Hot homemade bread and butter, it doesn’t get much better than that. Lovely photo!
Fresh from the oven.
Do you have real butter too? I’m hungry!
Real and organic.
I’ll be right over!
Colorado right? I’m in New England now but made my home in those parts, Utah actually, for many years. I miss the West.
Actually CA, but CO would be nice!
Hey, I was in CA!
What beautiful bread ! I am so jealous. Baking bread always eluded me.
I started back in the 70s, and I baked my share of rocks. But you learn to know the dough. I posted a bread workshop on my everythingchangesinthelight.blogspot.com blog. Click on the tag bread at the bottom of the page.
Thank you so much..but I think the wheat flour will thank me to not experiment anymore.
Ha!
So glad that you are back to ‘normal’ however that is for you. Lovely to see that bread. made some myself the other day – spelt bread. Wonderful.
Oooh, totally gluten free? What else was in it?
Melted butter, water, fresh yeast, some sugar and salt, 2 eggs and then 5 cups of spelt four. Its the sort that you can make in advance and then leave in the fridge for about 4 days before you use it…… if you can leave it that long. I can’t.
Nice looking loaves. Where were the fishes?
In the freeezer!
I can smell it through the screen! Bread making is exercise in its self
And it was nice to get back at it. The smell fills the house!
I’d like to eat those breads! And the granolas, too… I’d really like some of those breads, I can feel my teeth sinking into them. And you talk about how they smell!?! Oh, I thought you were kind…
Btw, I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award, Ms. Lily Green. ^^ Am looking forward (read, hoping against all hope) that you’ll oblige this soul and do a bit post about it…
Pass the jam!
Dang!
