Glimmers,
slivers of light, blossoming blue-green and lavender
in rippling paths,
a wet veil of wonder, and I wander
in this place
in awe of what is seen–ever aware of the greater unseen.
Can I still stare at the miracles even if I don’t understand?
Can I still sigh glory even when I know reflection covers hidden darkness?
In this moment, I breathe many yes’s,
and in this moment, it is enough.

Lilly, that photograph is truly a work of art! And your words are the punctuation.
Thanks!
Beautiful bright ripples and reflections Lily
Thank you!!
I love the photo. Each ripple is clear and sharp. What camera settings did you use? I’d like to try and replicate this. Great photography.
Actually, this was before I got my new one. It was my unadjusted point and shoot, but the day was superb–beautiful skies, and the lagoon had wonderful reflections.
I looked on properties, which I never did before with my Kodak. It was F 4.8, 1/100 sec., exp. bias 0. The plae has a lot of overhanging trees, so the light can be quite nice.
