When she posted on FB something about a Black Mouth Cur, hubby and I thought she might be dissing her dog–some kind of Shakespearean curse! But they are an actual breed.

Someone said Old Yeller was actually a Black Mouth Cur. And the cur part is where we get our word curtail from. It’s an old breed.
