Our happiness is overflowing here, I would be very happy to send it your way. ;-D
Ha, funny! We have had a gentle much-needed soak for a few days. No floods, thank you!
Beautiful colors.
I’m thankful for the lovely colors of the neighbor’s roof, our weather-beaten fence, and redwood chips that soften into lovely background hues.
Wow! I love the pic with the rain drops on the forks! What a great idea! It’s funny because I follow another blogger who just posted about the rain in the dessert:-)
Must be CA! I made a mobile out of old silverware, so hence the rain on forks.
My husband’s mother has one of those mobiles! They’re really rustic but she has hers inside (not an ideal place to hang one, I don’t think LOL)
Probably not!
I really like the first one with the one water drop. The colors are wonderful. Have not seen a mobile made of forks – very creative.
I had all these mismatched pieces of silverware; it was either cash them in or make something. A blogger friend on Blogspot made one, and I thought, YES!
No one appreciates rain like a desert-dweller! Enjoy every drop!
Yes, and the great clouds that go with it!
I love to listen to the rain – especially after a long dry spell. Love each of your “rain” pics – lovely!
I do too love the rain. Even when I lived where we got lots of it, I loved it!
Beautiful. I gentle rain sounds nice. I sure do not want to be out in the painful rain predicted later. We are blessed with warm, dry shelter and a tarp-covered generator filled with gas.
Oh, the tarp will come off if the generator needs to be turned on. We just want to keep the ice off of it.
Are you getting a lot? We often do get rainy winters, and it will come in a flood. The soft soaking kind is much better. It doesn’t appear that this winter will be a wet one.
We didn’t get too much, but the roads were too bad to drive on. Our poor dog was sliding around until he got to the grass. We did not lose power and the birds are doing fine.
Looks like we have another storm blowing in. The wind is freaking the dog.
What is worse, the wind bothering the dog, or a dog barking and growling at the critter underneath the van. It was a ball.
Cut my finger preparing lunch. Been interesting trying to type. I know the throbbings are going to keep me up tonight.
You know those mean old balls! He’s defending the yard from the tyranny of soccer!
Sorry about the finger. Ouch!
Here’s the deal we will take snow till March but can you keep the winds there it has been raw here when they blow
on top of the SNOW
I’m not sure I have a say, but I’ll try really hard. (Fingers crossed behind back
)
