A fine set of pictures. How far away was the bird from you?
A foot and a half. This feeder attaches to the window by my computer, and right now the sunlight is nice through the patio at certain times in the day. Love these little guys.

He looks like a wise little one; I hope he’s wise enough to keep safe.
Wise and fast work in their favor. We have a neighbor cat who currently perches right beneath the feeder in front. All I can say is, “Good luck!” Not gonna happen!
What beautiful hummingbirds and I am amazed you had them all winter! It will be a couple months before we see ours. But my peaceful Redpolls are now getting mighty feisty… almost hummingbird-like.
We are getting more, and they are fussing more–love or territory.
These are so clear and perfect I think I can reach out and touch them!
