Taken in a snow storm on a little 110 camera and later scanned, it is one of my favorite pictures of the farm I grew up on. (2-’76)

beautiful beautiful!
Thank you! It’s hard to narrow them down, and each new batch produces more favorites!
I need to add some.
Elegant photos – love the gnarly tree – and recognize some of the Tahoe views. The farmhouse is charming.
Thank you. The farm was taken on a cheapy camera, but with snow, it almost looks like watercolor. I have an 8 X 10 in my office.
Of Intriguing Places Near and Far . Very ex. (like that old pic. , that one taken with the 110.
Our old farm has so many warm memories for me.
Hi Lilly – again….love your eye for photography. Great sweetgum leaf….and that 110 shot! amazing. When I was shooting 110 I didn’t know I wanted to be a photographer yet what I would give to have that film to scan.
smile for you.
~Sue
A lot of the film in the 70s deteriorated, so I don’t have much from then. But the farm pic kind of turned out like a watercolor, I think.
Muito lindo!!! Parabéns!!!!
I think that’s good.
Merci and Gracias!
Stunning photo of Crater Lake.
One of our favorite places in the world!
Lilly, please don’t hesitate to include the farmhouse photo in your coffee table book. That “vintage” look is very “in” right now, and with this photo it’s completely natural, not achieved via processing software! Actually, one can also get software to “clean up” this sort of old, scanned photo, but why bother? The authentic look is an essential part of its charm.
Thanks for the input. I do love it. Even blown up to 8X10 at Costco, it is warm, soft, and nostalgic. I look at it everyday in my office.
I love that gnarly tree!!
SOme of my fVORITES ARE DEAD, DORMANT, AND / OR TWISTED–SO INTERESTING!
I hate cap lock!
Those are gorgeous photos, Lilly. It’s not possible to choose just one favorite.
I need to update. I am always having another favorite!
Love the farm photo. It has the feeling of an old daguerreotype. So appropriate for this piece of your history.
I love how it turned out, even from a cheapy film camera.
Treasure that old camera. It made this image what it is.
Amazing photos!
Thanks a lot!
