Waiting with Seus

Waiting, waiting for the man,

in a car,

in a spot,

in a gym’s parking lot,

sounds like Seus,

must make use

of my time with pics and rhyme.

Pics I take . . . oh, one, two, three,

in my car,

in my spot,

in the gym’s parking lot,

lights up top,

holes in walls,

roof lines boring, not at all.

In a blue car, there I are

taking shots

in my spot,

in the gym’s parking lot,

talking Seus,

making use,

with my rhyme just marking time.

Waiting, waiting for the man,

Making use of time, I can.

(Okay, now I sound more like Yoda!)

I love this. I had to read it out loud to my husband so that I could get the rhythm etc. And yes, it made me smile.

    • I was waiting to pick up my husband. The car at the end is my youngest dropping him off before he works out. I had waited so long, I was just about to get out and take more pics outside the car. See, then it would have been a longer poem!!!! 🙂

  2. What a great combination of words and images, very creative!! And how better can you get when you have Seuss and Yoda combined into a poem? Love all the lines you captured in your images. 😀

  3. My smile for the day!
