  1. Oh I love this…….the pop of red against the green…..I want a barn just like that when ‘I grow up’.
(My husband and I are building our retirement home and we are going to be homesteading with small animals….that size barn would be perfect.)

    • I just loved the red barn at my sister’s, and they did wonderful arrangements with flower beds all over the place and had a huge garden. Often folks used to stop and take pictures of their place. They thought retired folks with lots of time lived there because it was so cared for. 🙂

What a lovely photo! It speaks of spring, family, daily life, and bright thoughts–the color of the barn “pops” it for me.

  3. I really like this, a well maintained barn! The color is so nice. It saddens me so much to see barns coming into disuse, allowed to just collapse or replaced by ugly metal buildings.

I love these coloured barns, another favourite are the covered bridges you have over there.

    • There are not a lot of the covered bridge thing where I was from in Ontario, but I remember driving through New England and oohing and ahhing over so many picturesque bridges and gorges.

I would love to hear from you!
