Pickin’ and Grinnin’

This is one of my favorite pictures of Mom and my youngest (scanned from 35 mm), taken in ’91.

It proves that I am not as good a person as my mom because I would not be doing all that leaning over, picking my sister’s green beans at 7 a.m. in the morning!Β  Well, and I wouldn’t wear those shoes or that snazzy hat, so I guess it evens out. πŸ™‚

Oh, and since it’s Canada, it should be favourite!

That is an awesome photo! It reminds me of my grandmother who did all the work by hand wearing a corset and stockings under the dress and the standard issue lace up shoes with the heels. How did they do it??
