Of Whine and Roses

Here are the roses:

And now here’s the whine–Ta Da:  I was able to get around enough to shop at Costco yesterday for the first time since my bike accident.  Six weeks!  Six whole weeks and nobody missed me!  I’m hurt! . . . kind of. 🙂

You capture spring so well in your photos of these roses, Lilly. I’ve still got to deal with the aphids on mine, and am inspired by the beauty of yours.

Beautiful blossoms, Lilly. My roses haven’t bloomed yet. That’s kind of weird. But they’re getting there. Your pinkish rose is just beautiful.

    • That’s one thing I learned i living in the desert: You dpn’t keep planting things over and over agin that will not thrive. With water, roses, lilacs, and my yellow daisy thing do well–geraniums, too. So I pretty much just keep these perrenials and keep adding to them. Spring is glorious, then they all go into shock in the hot summer, have a renewal in fall, then dormacy for winter.

I would love to hear from you!
