Fun Stuff!

Hubby bought me a new camera!  If breaking a rib gets this kind of attention, I may be up for some more pain.  Not!

Now I start the job of reading through the manual.  Yowzers.  Do I get a degree for this.

🙂  Mama is happy.

    What kind of camera?

  5. That’s exactly what I have been eye-balling! Can’t wait to see the pics you start posting with that baby! 🙂

I’m enjoying my Canon EOS 1000 (UK) or XS (USA). It’s fun learning new things, and getting to grips with the camera will be quite an adventure. I know I don’t use it to its fullest. I haven’t even got to the timer yet!!!!! Enjoy.

If you can use one tenth of what the manual has to tell you, you will be a better (wo)man than me.

    • I am not the kind of person who just dives in without reading the manual. But man, the info there is copious! At least, I can start with auto settings. But I put on the longer lens this morning, even with blurring migraine eyes, and I am sooo jazzed! My lemons never looked so beautiful! 🙂

Congratulations! can’t wait to see your pics from your new camera..

  9. It’s always so much fun to get a new toy. I’ve got a new Nikon on my wish list. Maybe I should break something. 🙂

New toys!! Awesome. Each new one has so many new features. I started out slow and am finally getting to where I can almost always remember each of the 32 different icons and what they mean. Husbands with surprises are the best. My wish list at the moment is a macro lens for the toy I got for Christmas.

    • Start saving and maybe he’ll get it for you. Last year I started saving for an upgrade ina juicer, and he sprung a surprise birthday for me with a money tree so I could get it. I was saving for an upgrade in a camera from selling bread, and he did this. Mmm, what do I want to save for next!

  11. Take it slow and easy and you’ll get through it……….. the manual, that is.

I would love to hear from you!
