Rock and Water, Water and Rock

I hiked down the Arroyo Burro Beach in my fabric-covered flipflops (mistake) gaining weight in sand step by step.  My favorite rocks are here somewhere; I know it.  Ah, there is such a thing as high tide, and I don’t have an underwater camera.  The colorful sliced slabs will save till another day.  These pics will do. 🙂

Fantastic ocean shots Lilly! My favorite place to be and you make me feel almost like I am really there.

    • When you live in the desert, the ocean is even more appealing. We wonder why we ever left. On this trip, we went by our old neighborhoods and hardly recognized what they had done to the houses. Who took the strawberry fields and built condos!

And do they did! God Bless, SR

Love the uncluttered seascape there. Just beautiful.

  5. gingerbreadcafe says:

Lovely pictures, I like the top one with the water really smashing over the rocks. There is nothing like a bit of sea air!

  6. These pictures are beautiful, can almost hear the ocean. I hope to see the coast again.

Just like the sea in my back yard! Loved them!

I would love to hear from you!
