Hot for the Day–I mean thought!

The forecast for today is 108 degrees, which means it will probably reach 110.  I’ll let you know.  I’m sticking close to the fan, as is my dog.  “Hey, stop blocking the cool!”

  1. 105 so far, and it’s 12:40. 😦

‘Phew what a scorcher’ as our headline writers tend to say when the temperature gets over 80 degrees here. That would be too hot for me. I would have to move.

Our first really hot day yesterday — 34 C or just over 92 F– with fairly high humidity. We wilted like spinach in a steamer. Our trailer really heats up and one portable air conditioner in the dining room doesn’t do much, but thankfully the temp dropped to 20C/50F last night. You folks don’t have the advantage of cool nights, do you?

    • We are high desert, so we generally get a drop of about 20 degrees at night. But when it starts cooking so early in the morning, you know you are in for it. It’s 112 outside right now. With the swamp cooler, it is 86. Aghhhhh.

We finally got some rain and cooler temps on the east coast. 74 tonight. 🙂 Waving a wee bit of it your way!

At least it’s a dry heat… I would be the one in the tub filled with cool water. No need to cook, just put it one a sunny rock and dinner’s ready.

I clicked “Like” but not for the temperature expectations…
Please see my first blog post, only one with a picture entitled “Bulldog”

I would love to hear from you!
