Weekly Photo Challenge: Big

Big hands inherited from my farmer dad,

full and freckled, dwarfing the almost translucent wee of new gifted life.

Such a tiny whisper of a hand

with a promise of the future,

weaving dreams in uncoordinated flailings,

swelling grandma’s heart.

Made me smile! I immediately remembered that soft, silky touch and the feel of those teeny little fingers clinging to mine. Heaven!

  3. That is one big paw you have. 🙂 It is a sweet photo. I’ve been going through old baby photos of the children. Ah, I miss babies.

    Fine picture, fine poem.

Another one you should frame Lilly! It took my breath away… the picture and then the perfect words.

I would love to hear from you!
