He’s Back and He’s Not . . .

. . . vegan!  I may have hoped he would have had a change of heart somewhere along the the line.  But I don’t think he came on by my feeders for light conversation.

However, as long as I don’t have to see him eat, I will love to have him visit.  What a magnificent bird.  So glad he is back.

    Great pictures. The middle one is particularly fine as you need to be on the ball as they whisk by.

  2. If they cannot be vegan, I wish they’d eat the meat we’d want them too. We had a couple Cooper’s Hawk visits last week and if the birds weren’t hiding, they were paralyzed in fear. Today, one of the children brought in the remains of one of our little dears, just the tail feathers. 😦 Trying to remember the Appreciation Day I spoke of earlier.

    Tis the season, saw one on our fence yesterday. Hubby found pigeon feathers later, guess he had already eaten.
