I’ve always known it. I guess I knew it would come back to bite me eventually. When you engage in high risk behavior, there is a price to pay. But it’s been a habit that’s been hard to break. I do it everyday. And today . . . today I am paying that price! I just spilled coffee all over my computer desk!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who does that. . .
I’m always careful with my coffee by the computer, but . . . argh! What a mess I made!
We all do it once, but never again!
Have you had a look at my blog…Seen anything that interests you. Growing day by day.
YEah, I have swung by. I will again when I clean up my mess! 🙂
There are two cardinal rules one must live by – otherwise the consequences will not be pleast. NO FOOD OR DRINK near the computer. NO FOOD OR DRINK in bed. I break the second one and take my first cup of coffee to bed. I PAID FOR IT also. The handle broke away and I narrowly misses burning myself. Most important the sheets suffered – not the mattress. Oh well rules are meant to be broken. Don’t we love living on the edge. V.
I am so adventuresome, I scare myself! Ha! Well, maybe when I was younger.
You are NEVER NEVER old!!
🙂 Tell that to my hips! They did not get the memo.
Yikes, I always have that thought in the back of my mind…still I continue to do it!
I’m doing it again right now. 🙂
LOL
I feel for you. I always set my coffee next to the printer. Coffee never has spilled on the keyboard, but I did once spill a Coke.
I had a bandaid on my finger, and it caught in the handle.
My sympathies, Lily. All over your keyboard? Or all over your important documents? That reminds me, I must get busy right now and clean off my computer desk!
🙂 Not sure how it gets so messy! All that bit the dust were one creative writing assignment (automatic 100%) and some odds and ends post-it notes.
I hope there is no serious damage. in the morning I always have a travel mug on my desk, so far no problem but I guess its an accident waiting to happen.
No serious damage. Wet the mouse and under the keyboard, but aside from that, just a few papers. The potential is what made me sit up and take notice!
Living dangerously!
Yeah, I scare myself.
Lilly – I’m so glad you sailed through this misfortune unscathed. I do the same thing and I know when I’m doing it that it’s “high risk behavior,” but I do it anyway. It’s like we are testing fate, knowing we are not immune to catastrophe. We could look at it another way though and think of ourselves as courageous. It would almost be like sky diving! 🙂
Mm, maybe with a little less altitude! I always feel I am in control, but it’s that one sec when I’m not! 🙂
OH NO! I have coffee at my desk every day! Going to take heed and put it on the side table and NOT next to my PC.
I still do it! Haven’t learned my lesson.
That day I spilled and the next day at Starbucks with a friend I spilled all over my jeans. Must be a season! 🙂
