Depressing Thought for the Day

I’ve always known it.  I guess I knew it would come back to bite me eventually.  When you engage in high risk behavior, there is a price to pay.  But it’s been a habit that’s been hard to break.  I do it everyday.  And today . . . today I am paying that price!  I just spilled coffee all over my computer desk!

  1. I’m glad I’m not the only one who does that. . .

We all do it once, but never again!

Have you had a look at my blog…Seen anything that interests you. Growing day by day.

There are two cardinal rules one must live by – otherwise the consequences will not be pleast. NO FOOD OR DRINK near the computer. NO FOOD OR DRINK in bed. I break the second one and take my first cup of coffee to bed. I PAID FOR IT also. The handle broke away and I narrowly misses burning myself. Most important the sheets suffered – not the mattress. Oh well rules are meant to be broken. Don’t we love living on the edge. V.

  4. Yikes, I always have that thought in the back of my mind…still I continue to do it!

  5. I feel for you. I always set my coffee next to the printer. Coffee never has spilled on the keyboard, but I did once spill a Coke.

  6. My sympathies, Lily. All over your keyboard? Or all over your important documents? That reminds me, I must get busy right now and clean off my computer desk!

I hope there is no serious damage. in the morning I always have a travel mug on my desk, so far no problem but I guess its an accident waiting to happen.

    Living dangerously!

Lilly – I’m so glad you sailed through this misfortune unscathed. I do the same thing and I know when I’m doing it that it’s “high risk behavior,” but I do it anyway. It’s like we are testing fate, knowing we are not immune to catastrophe. We could look at it another way though and think of ourselves as courageous. It would almost be like sky diving! 🙂

OH NO! I have coffee at my desk every day! Going to take heed and put it on the side table and NOT next to my PC.

I would love to hear from you!
