An original title, don’t you think?
(Update: My birding friend tells me they are domestics derived from mallard ducks. I think they should wear name tags so as not to confuse amateur birders! 🙂 )

Yes, “I think!” God Bless, SR
🙂
Love it! I wonder if geese have a black and white ball…. they’re ready for it!
My birding friend has informed me they are ducks! 🙂 Do they have a duck ball?
A stunning photo – or should I say ANOTHER stunning photo? Great title too – so very clever. 🙂
Funny, I just found out they are ducks! What do I know.
LOLOL… considering they are ducks. 😀 Domestics derived from Mallards. Look at the Mallard curl on the black duck. That makes him a male.
Ha, that’s funny! They looked like geese to me. I need you to keep me on the straight and narrow birding trail. 🙂
I just did a search to see if there are easy to tell differences between ducks and geese. Here is one: “The down of a Duck will often have more of a smell to it than Goose down.” I suppose if you get birds coming close to you, you can always smell to see what species it is… 😮
Okay, if I get pecked by getting too close to one, you are in big trouble! Hey, I should have called this post DUCK, DUCK, GOOSE!
LOL!!!!! I missed it also. Took it for granted they were geese! How funny!!!! “Rotten gone girl, rotten gone! God Bless, SR
Now that I know, you see some ducky traits. 🙂 Wait till I post the the “geese” that have a beak that looks like a semi’s sleeper cab.
Lilly, you are so darn cute.
I have an incurable disease–my weird outlook! 🙂
They are charming.
And so unafraid to come close. I guess it’s all that Wonder bread folks are throwing at them!
I’ve never seen a black duck before. Very interesting.
There was one there that has the bouffant hairdo and is dalmatian colored. All kinds, I guess.
*singing* “Ebony and ivory…” 😉
Ooh, good choice. 🙂
Ducks or geese–this is a truly fine photograph!
🙂 Thanks!
Gorgeous photo!
Thank you!
