Here You Are

192 - Copy

Wondering wanderer,

wisdom-warring, chipping away in bits and pieces the value of your soul,

you have discarded your inheritance.

You have truth-trampled till dust and broken shards have swirled,

engulfed to cloak and choke your life,

and here you are . . .

broken, and disappointed.

And the Wounded One says, “I am still here.”

And the Scarred One says, “My blood-spilled grace still covers.”

And the Sacrificial One says that even though you stopped believing in Me,

“I still believe in you.”

This is so lovely–and the photo fits perfectly, too.

  2. Thanks for reblogging this. Still so relevant; I especially like the last two lines. Though we lose heart so we can hardly believe any more, He still remains faithful.

I would love to hear from you!
