Thought for the Day: (Perhaps Thoughtless is Better)

Note to self:

*Don’t forget to wash hands after cutting jalapenos and before touching face.

*After washing several times and even covering fingers with milk, do not touch eyes to extricate an errant eyelash.

*Wait till the next ice age before ever touching your face again; and then in that case if you do, cooling will be at hand, literally–and face!

  1. I have been walking to loose weight and to control my blood sugar which has been going quite well. I have found that Ben Gay has become a good friend to help deal with minor aches and pains. I have learned that the sequence for using Ben Gay is that you use the bathroom and then you apply. Hand washing does not seem to soften the consequence of this lesson..

    • Vicks Vapor Rub is also the gift that keeps on giving. There must have been an exceptionally hot pepper in the bunch because I just had my pico da gallo, and it is much hotter than the last batch!!!!

    OUCH!

    • I finally realized, they were not all jalapenos. I think my farmer’s organic box had other firy little guys. I am so gringo, I couldn’t tell. 🙂

      • If they were small and red, they could have been Thai peppers. They’re quite a bit hotter than jalapenos. There are so many different peppers though that it would be hard to tell.

        • Some were green, some green and red and some red (which I thought were sweet peppers :)) My friend in Fresno says they use Fresno peppers for their hot sauce, and since the farmers are mostly from around there, I’m thinking they were serranos and Fresno. Either way, hot!

I would love to hear from you!
