Thought for the Day: Argh

I think I would have preferred spider bites.  It is shingles, typically brought on by stress.  Lost job?  Duh.  That probably qualifies.

I am not a happy camper.  Can’t believe how painful and how varied the symptoms are.  Lord, help!

    So sorry to hear this. It is SO PAINFUL. But on the plus side, it goes away. And even better, there is a vaccine! Take care, get well.

    Sympathies and prayers. There are definitely times when we wish we could “fast-forward” so we can look back at this trial and see some good in it — in retrospect. 😦

    I’m glad you went to the doctor, but wish you could have gotten there sooner. It would be nice if we could diagnose ourselves and know what we’re dealing with.

      I wish I had known earlier, too. I have known of some who have had this, but all that was ever described was that it is painful. Painful: Got that. It was so spread out at first that I didn’t know what to think. It has gone through several stages with varied symptoms. If anyone ever describes the symptoms, of which I have had everthing listed On Google, I will hopefully be a big help. Lord, please heal!

    I have been told that anybody that had chicken pox as a child can have shingles. Just so sorry you are one of the unlucky ones that has gotten shingles. Hope for a speedy recovery.

    Shingles are grisly. For goodness sake take it easy and don’t make them worse however boring that may be.

    Oh no! I am so sorry Lilly. But on the plus side, you at least now know what it is. I know that shingles eventually goes away and then you can get the vaccine. Fingers crossed your episode will be short lived.
