A no metaphor day . . .

*************time to recycle!

A p r o n h e a d -- Lilly

The mountain metaphor –> a great high, but the valley comes next.

Fall –> the seasons are changing, and life’s winter is coming.

Mmm.  Maybe not.

Maybe it’s a no metaphor day.

Maybe it’s a no punctuation day.

Maybe it’s just a deep breathing moment –> a sunny Sunday, an undashed car ride with my lifelong lover, a placid lake with more blue than seems natural, a bristley tree-populated mountain, changing leaves, and me capturing souls in my camera –>  –>  –>

A common moment’s pleasure.

It’s great to see these images again. I especially like the one with the leaves at the base of the tree. So full of action in a picture of stillness. Love the paradox of that.

    • Thanks. We just went back to the same spot this week, and the lake is almost dried up, I guess because of the drought. I got some pics, but I was standing on dry land where water used to be!

I would love to hear from you!
