I Believe

241 - Copy

I lost you in the forest where black shadows fell, preventing the light.

I lost you in the swirling deep when waters rushed and cold sand sucked, and

I lost you in the blindness—the pain of loss and the fear of what could be.

But you found me there, covered in rags of self—thread bare and useless.

You found me in the breathless air, the overwhelming press of loveless lies.

When I could not

would not

find myself,

you found me and gave me a sure life.

I believe.

Another great post. Seriously, you need to gather up your 20 or 25 best, and submit them to a book publisher. What a great book of prayer&reflection they would make, all gathered together and beautifully illustrated.

I totally agree with reinkat! Posts like this are so special they need to be put into a book!
