If the next really big one hits CA, this is probably not the best place to be standing. See all those thrust faults that indicate serious tectonic activity and subsequent erosion? It makes for interesting topography, but if those continental plates make the expected biggie adjustment, well, I hope I’m in NB.

You’re so right–pain is not fun at all. I avoid it at all costs.
I would find it quite hard to live near it at all being of a pessimistic frame of mind.
Actually being right by it is better than where we are because the seismic waves out increase. Problem though, right on it might land you at the bottom of a magma pool! 🙂
