Weekly Photo Challenge: Monument

scan0004

A great many of my relatives are in this old Canadian cemetery, including my dad, his dad, and his dad’s dad.  There is history here and a faith-filled foundation of adventurous, solid home-grown folks that I stand upon.

So these are not just literal monuments to the dead, but monuments to the Christian faith and core values passed down to me.  When I pass, my spirit will be gone, but I want the resting place of this body to be here.

More memories here than anywhere else. What part of Canada is this?

Interesting take on the challenge and a wonderful testament to family and faith. Nicely done.

I would love to hear from you!
