Bleeding Two

You treat her like a prosthetic limb

that you can use or cast aside at a whim,

when you feel the need,

but she bleeds

and starts to die; and perhaps the tearing wasn’t apparent to you,

but just in case you didn’t notice, you are bleeding, too.
