I’m not the only one. Since there are so many who feed hummers, there is a new winter biome. I get to be a part. 🙂 = positive spin
Good spin. that happens here sometimes with Canada geese; they hang around the power plants where there’s always some open water. But my goldfinches are SO gone and we fed them faithfully. 😦

I probably should start warming the food up and provide napkins.

Cute photos. And you just keep feeding them. 🙂 That Polar Vortex has arrived by the sound of that wind, so I am grateful we have no hummies. We’ve got plenty of Juncos, though.

Haha. Actually, I need to get outside soon and dig into the mulch pile (grass clippings) to cover the native plant babies. This is to prevent frost heave. I can handle cold, just not wind and cold.
I bought a couple pair of wool socks today. I have some thin socks thatI’ve been wearing to bed, but they keep coming off overnight.
I take my warm woobies to bed–those rice thingys you heat in the microwave.
I’ve seen those, and think they’d be nice. But we do not have a microwave. I do not regret that too much as we freed so much space on the counter when it died.
