About Drought

110 - Copy

The clouds rolled in, somersaulting grey over the hills, and then

the rain.

Not enough to hydrate a thirsty California,

but enough to give hope that we will not completely dry up,

crack up,

and blow away to the Arizona deserts.

If we don’t get more of the same this winter, we will all be singing

“By the Time I Get to Phoenix.”

My sympathies go out to all of the fine folks in California. When i lived there i lived through some pretty bad droughts in 14 years (1st time i lived there) but none even half as bad as what all y’all are experiencing now.I hope that this winter will bring lots of snow to the Sierras for y’all.
