A p r o n h e a d -- Lilly Green 
A weed is only a weed if it is perceived so. Your beautiful close up of a weed blowing in the wind has transformed it. O.K. I know I am slightly profound!
Not really sure what this is.
Great shot. It looks to me like a type of grass like Pampas Plume. However, the wind wasn’t blowing when you snapped this, or all the frost would have blown off. 🙂
No frost (California!), just silken light back lit from the sun. And yes the wind was blowing, so I snapped at a higher shutter speed. 🙂
No frost there? Honestly? Well, I appreciate the picture all the more.
P.S.: We’re supposed to get 8-10″ of snow in the next two days. Just think what a great coating that would make for your grass. 🙂
Don’t hate me but it was in the 80s for Thanksgiving yesterday. 🙂 Actually, a little snow would be nice.
I like these two pictures a lot. Grass is underrated as a decorative plant.
Add a little sun, and voila!
