If this shoe could talk…

My son Brett wore this shoe for 5 years. It was not because he loved this shoe or that it had any special significance, but rather, it was the only shoe that fit over his braces and allowed him to walk. We had it resoled several times and had a custom lift put on it to accommodate his left leg being shorter than his right, due to a hip disorder he was diagnosed with at the age of 6.

Through the years, he tried several times to wear other shoes but none of them would fit over his brace or give him the stability he needed to walk, and therefore he accepted the fact that until something changed, he would have to wear these shoes day in and day out.

If this shoe could talk it would surely have a story to tell. You see without this…
