His Very First Steps….

You walk into the nursery and find him on his stomach. You know that you laid him down on his back. You ask yourself,”Did he turn over all by himself?” You can hardly believe your eyes! So you roll him over back onto his back and leave the room. Before you know it you hear him cooing and kicking and once again, to your surprise you find he has turned over all by himself! I think this was my first indication that this little person that I had brought into this world, would one day not depend on me to meet his every need.

Before you know it he is sitting up, and next he is crawling across the floor. The anticipation grows as you begin to realize that soon he will be on two feet. If you are like most parents you begin thinking, “I can’t wait til he can…
