Missed it by that much!
Beauty! Great shot
Thanks. I like when they visit my fence.
Beautiful bird and photo capture. It is not your friend, Lilly. 😉
Ha, I think you are right. But I do admire them. 🙂
They are awe-inspiring, for sure.
Wonderful pictures of a wonderful bird.
I think they are amazing, as long as they eat somewhere else, of course.
You know Lilly, your photos are great!
I enjoy all your photos of the many feathered-friends you have accumulated over time because you captivate the awesome, intricate beauty of their design by the Master Creator….I just want to thank you because I never realized how beautifully-detailed each one is, and the many colors He has used so brilliantly! I appreciate what GOD has done….all of creation is a miracle! 🙂
It roars concerning His presence and creativity.
What a beautiful bird! We’ve only had a hawk visit our yard a few times. It came the year we had so many pine siskins, which must be easy targets. It ate up a few over the course of a week, then moved on.
Another Cooper’s came today, and he was very bold, ignoring my approach.
Good friends to have.
Are your feeder birds still around? We had what we think was a Rough-legged Hawk last week, but they do not eat birds.
Yes, our sparrows and finches are still around–and doves. What does a rough-legged eat? Just rodents?
Rough-leggeds eat mostly small mammals, and only when they are scarce do they prey on birds.
What a beauty!!
