. . . I just don’t want to show off.
Great shot =)
Can’t believe he can turn his head totally backwards.
You wouldn’t want to be backwards looking. Lovely shot.
It could come in handing teaching.
That is incredible, great work!!
Thanks so much. Love my neighborhood visitors.
Wow! He is close enough to touch and absolutely beautiful!
Not sure I want to touch. Have you seen those talons?
Doesn’t know whether he’s coming or going–kind of like me!
Loved both the picture and the comment.
Thanks! Are you guys still steeped in winter?
Yes indeed. But we are used to it!
Ow. My neck is a little tight today, so I do not think I’ll try this one. 🙂
Apply heat. 🙂
How do you find these birds? How do you get them to pose? You the bird whisperer?
I am the bird whisperer! I feed the small birds, and the hawks come to admire my friends. 🙂 They are very bold. I used to shoot them through the window, but I started walking out slowly, taking pics as I went. They allow me to get very close–totally not inhibited. And I use a zoom besides. But I have gotten within 6 feet before they take off.
