  I think they have a nest close by. The female came out first and stood on the fence, then jumped into our backyard. Then daddy did the same thing. They were not about to move away quickly.

I had a rockin’ Robin preening its feathers for a long while today. They don’t seem to hold still for very long.

  I think the only reason these 2 were posers was because they are nesting close by.

Robins are so sweet. I have one with a nest right over my car and it has two babies in it. I watched the mom try and build the nest on the top of a sloped bird house for days. It took her forever to give up on the fact that the nesting material was not going to stay put on that slopping roof while she went away for more.
