The Color of Trust

9-22-12

Comes the dark wind and unsettling storm–

Still.

Rises the smoky swell of doubt, and as sparks rise, so troubles rise–

Still, breathe.

Roars the purple thunder, quaking my stable ground, my naive expectation–

Still, breathe, pray.

Help in the trouble, adequacy in the brittle moment–

Still, breathe, pray, rest.

God is.

It’s always intriguing when someone posts about issues a reader is dealing with. Trust is a biggie–and I love your descriptives. Yesterday I shared “Wave-walker” with a friend, and today I’m loving “brittle moment”. Isn’t that exactly what it feels like. As the doubt rises, so the troubles…it’s true, and adds to my anxiety, as I think, “I should be able to control this”, but clearly I cannot. And so, the only option is to run into His arms again. Glorious photos, by the way. God bless you today.

I would love to hear from you!
