While visiting relatives, I took my camera for a walk to see what I could see.

Your flower photos always lift my heart. Even when it isn’t down. Thanks!
🙂 Thanks.
You are having so much fun with your new camera, Lilly. That’s great. You got some lovely floral shots. My aunt lives in Long Beach. I took tons of photos there when I visited her summer before last – pelicans, the Queen Mary and yes, the fantastic palms. Lots of fun stuff in Long Beach.
We were only there briefly, but yes there is so much more color there than in the desert. Sigh.
Your eye for God’s beauty is something to be admired. God Bless, SR
It is everywhere. 🙂
That camera is sure goin’ places, huh! Always take back with it beautiful images to share. 😉
Yeah, it has a mind of its own and only takes me along for the ride. 🙂
These are beautiful.
Thanks. Lily of the Nile is one of my favorites.
I miss Long Beach. Love flower shots!
The area where my relative lives especially is kept up so nicely with much foliage and flowers.
I used to cycle there alot…Love that place..
We used to live there when we were first married.
I forgot the name of the cove..at the end of the bike pathway…small beach section..really pretty..every summer I would stop by there..
You see some interesting flowers. The second from the bottom looks like a bee’s delight. 🙂
Is that commentary or its name? I had never seen that one before.
Commentary. I don’t know many flowers other than what we have here and only have touched the surface of the natives. . I did order something with a common name of “Cow Slobber”. I just could not pass that up. It’s more often known as Spiderwort, but I prefer the AKA.
You have got to be kidding! How funny!
Actually, I think I’ll call those orange ones “fireworks”!
Your photos are stunning – such clarity! Beautiful subjects don’t hurt, do they? 🙂
It was even a short walk! 🙂 Things are so much more green and colorful than here in the desert; though with water, everything greens up — even here.
And in this corner of Canada, the green takes its sweet time coming – but oh, it is worth the wait!!! Going out now with my camera – I’m pretty sure there’s a poem or two waiting… 🙂
Love them all, Lilly. My fav is the third photo!
I love Lily of the Nile, but those firworks things are also intriguing. 🙂
You found lots of pretty and interesting things. Taking my camera for a walk is one of my favorite things, too.
Wow! Some gorgeous shots here Lilly! Do you know what the red flowers are? They really are stunning, like little fireworks!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen them before. They are interesting, though.
Nice, clear, good photos. Thank you…
🙂
I hope you got to Aquarium of the Pacific. One of my Top 10 aquariums of all time.
I’ve been there but not for some time.
